I can not rate this particular brand, since I have not tried any others to compare it with, so I will review the product. As you know, it is so hard to keep up with everything that we are suppose to be taking and not getting in our diet while also trying to eliminate everything bad that is contained in seemingly everything we eat. So I like to try different products and I have found with supplements that if I needed them, I can tell some type of difference within 30 days. If I haven't noticed any change in 30 days, I never do. Also with new products, I like to "load" or take a higher dose initially. So I began taking 4 pills a day and about 2-3 weeks into it, I began to be more patient, observant, and just generally in tune with everything. It is a little difficult to explain, but the effects were noticeable and beneficial.

I started taking Iodoral over 2 1/2 years ago. I suffered mild side effects like slight headache and nasal discharge for a couple of weeks, so I assumed it was doing its job. Since I didn't have any severe maladies, there was no immediate great results. I was, and am taking it for preventative measures, and I figured the worst case was that in the case of a nuclear or "dirty bomb" attack, it would help prevent radiation poisoning. :)
However, in reading the other reviews about how it helped others' skin, I suddenly realized I haven't had dry, white elbows in a couple of years! For the 20 years prior to that, I almost always had mild, but visibly noticeable dry spots on my elbows. There is a very good chance this condition was improved by the Iodoral.

I've been taking this product for a few years as well as my husband. The dr. recommended two a day. My husband had no problem with this dosage. I, on the other hand did. But, the dr. told me to cut them in half and take 1/2 a day and then each week work up until I got to 2 per day. That worked great. I am on Armor Thyroid but this has given me a great boost in energy level. Wonderful product.

I have struggled with acne problems since I was 13 years old, and am now 27. I started taking Iodoral for symptoms of candida overgrowth prescribed by a naturopath. It took only a few weeks for my face to start showing signs of clearing up, which wasnt it's intended use. After three months, my face completely cleared up of any and all acne and it hasnt come back in over a year now!!
A good book to go along with the use of Iodoral is Iodine: Why you need it, Why you can't live without it. This book will really make you wonder!

This product was recommended to me by my Naturopathic Physician for preventing cysts in my eyes due to a lack of iodine. I have used it for a year now without recurrence of the cysts. I highly recommend this product. The price here can't be beat. Believe me I shopped around.
