The best out there August 29, 2010 Ruth S. Noble (Huntingtown, Maryland USA) When use daily it's very effective.I notice for me,that ny stamina increases, just an overall feel good feeling.I highly recommend it to anybody that is looking for a very good multivitamin.
There is no better brand of vitamin for your family! August 23, 2010 B. Rodgerson (West Texas) I've been using this product for over 5 years and have noticed a genuine difference in the way I feel. Every now and then I forget to re-order in time and go a week or two without using it and I notice I am not as clear headed, don't sleep as well, and am more susceptible to illness without it. While I'm using it I have more energy, my system(s) run smoothly and regularly, and I have an overall heightened feeling of wellness. I never get sick using this! I switched to the prenatal version when I was pregnant and had the same excellent results. I never got morning sickness and had an extremely easy/healthy pregnancy and baby!
Now I have introduced this to my (senior) parents who love it (they use the senior/menopause versions), and my husband who uses the men's one version. I will definitely be purchasing this for my children when they are old enough to chew!
It might take you a week or so to notice the effects, and get used to swallowing the large, all-natural (and somewhat pungent - the smell tells you its the good stuff) tablet form, but right away you will see your urine change color unlike any other vitamin out there. Its worth paying a few cents more! Thank you, Rainbow Light, for upping our quality of life with your potent, complete, easy-to-digest, all-natural vitamin! Brilliant.
Not bad if you can swallow them August 11, 2010 Twin Mom (ME, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I take and have taken a variety of pills between supplements and prescription meds. This is the first time I have ever choked on a pill because it was too big and it was too hard to swallow. While most multi vitamins have a smooth coating to help you swallow this one does not and while the texture is not noticeably different to the eyes or hands it is different when you're trying to swallow. This HAS to be the only thing you are trying to swallow. The taste is also not that great.
My grocery store brand has 3x the iron that this brand has, this only has 1/3 the recommended daily dose of iron. It also has less than 1/2 the calcium of the store brand but seems to have more of everything else.
This got three stars because of the size and difficulty of swallowing, the taste, and lack of iron and calcium, both very important for women's health.
made me nauseous :( July 22, 2010 stone 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
i tried these for two days and i was afraid to take it again because it made me nauseous from about 20-30 minutes after taking for about half a day. the first day i just felt nauseous but the second day, i actually threw up quite abruptly about 30 min after taking and then continued feeling nauseous throughout the day.
i had food in my stomach so i don't think that was the issue. i'm 25 and i just wanted a daily vitamin that gave me more mental and physical energy but i don't think this is it. i might try it again just to make sure though. i ordered it because it was cheap (like $6 at the time) and it had plenty of great reviews. i thought for sure that i would be fine due to the ratio of good and bad reviews. this never happens to me so it was a bit surprising. but i will try it again when i have no commitments during the day :( good luck!
oh and besides the nausea - i really didn't feel any different. i did get a bit yawn-y a couple of hours after taking which i thought was a bit odd..but it could have just been a coincidence. hope it works for you!
Energy boost w/ no rapid heartbeat July 18, 2010 Jane Doe (Nashville TN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to like the One-a-Day Weight Support with EGCG (or some green-tea acronym) until they reformulated it as "Advanced" and added stimulants, which made my heart race. Ugh! Been trying numerous drugstore and health food store vitamins since then, but could never really tell any difference in skin, hair, how I felt, etc. These vitamins are now my favorite. They give me lots of energy and feeling of well-being with not a trace of rapid heartbeat. And I'm not sure, but I think my appetite is not as strong when I'm taking them! Plus, they are reasonably priced and available in stores. Two energetic thumbs up!
