 Makes me sick August 19, 2010

This pill is large enough to choke a pony, difficult to swallow, and hard to digest. I am sure the vitamin blend is balanced properly, but if I have had anything less than a three-course meal, I end up feeling nauseated within minutes of taking it. It does say on the bottle that it's best to take with food, but it doesn't say how much food. If I try to take it with a piece of toast and a cup of coffee, that's not enough of a cushion to keep me from puking it all up. Dr. Weil's books are fantastic, and I enjoy some of his other products, but I actually dread taking this vitamin. I will try to finish the bottle but next time I will buy a different multivitamin.

I generally like Dr. Weil's books and products and I like that he donates after tax profits so he's not out to make money on people who are trying to have good health. I can't honestly tell you how good the vitamins are because I think that's a hard thing to say with any certainty, but I can speak to the size of the pills which some people have pointed out. I compared the tablets to other supplements I've taken that were large in size and these vitamins are the biggest by far. However, I and my husband had no trouble at all swallowing them. My husband gags easily and he said it was easy to swallow. I couldn't swallow pills until I was in my 20's because I swore they choked me. I finally learned to take them by putting one between my teeth first and as I drank water, releasing the pill with the fluid to go down. I was apprehensive when I saw the size of these vitamins, but I've been able to swallow them without issue. I would say that unless you have trouble swallowing pills in general, you should be able to swallow these so try them out. They look like horse pills, but don't let that psych you out! i have been looking for a quality multi vitamin for awhile now and came across this one. I am a huge fan of Dr. Weil and it just made sense to buy his multi vitamin. Since taking it i definitely notice an improvement in my wellbeing, my mood, attitude, body's functioning, and i even feel more rested. Check it out if your looking for a great multi. And the size isn't bad. How are you going to cram all these things into anything smaller?!? Just swallow already!

These pills are pretty big but they're really great! I just cut them in half and take one 1/2 in the morning with breakfast and the other 1/2 in the evening with dinner.
I highly recommend these vitamins and will definitely buy these again!

After many years of looking for a good, practical multiple vitamin, we have hit on one with Dr. Weil's brand and have been taking for three years. Nothing harsh like others that go thru the body within hours; these are lasting and both of us have noticed a difference in how we feel, the energy level we have, etc. We have started the practice of cutting in two and taking one half in the morning, the other with dinner and found this to work the best for us. Reasonably priced and we feel like we know what we are putting into our bodies with Dr. Weil's products.
