I'm not on the Slim-Fast diet, but I had a coupon for Slim-Fast and decided to try these bars. I exercise regularly and tend to use meal bars either before workouts or as a quick breakfast on work days. These Slim-Fast bars were amongst the better-tasting I've tried; to my surprise, the filling actually DID taste like cookie dough, with a nice sweetness and no artificial aftertaste. The bars have a pretty good nutritional profile, too, with 30% RDA of calcium, plenty of other vitamins and minerals, and 8 grams of protein--I only wish the fiber content had been a bit higher (2 grams). Overall, this 220-calorie bar is a both a healthy and an appetizing choice as a light meal or heavy snack.
