| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This heavy duty enclosure is filled with a special foam/gel. Just add water to the fill port and place it in your pillow case with the medical-grade cloth face up. The Chillow pulls heat away from your head, quickly dropping the surface temperature. Use the Chillow to help you sleep better during those warm summer months. Not only will you save money by not running the AC as often, but you'll also improve your health. The Chillow can also be used in lieu of an ice pack. Its cooling effect works wonders on sunburns, swollen joints, and strained muscles. In fact, anything you'd use an icepack for, the Chillow can help, without freezing! And because it's not as cold as an icepack, you can use it for a longer period of time without discomfort or melting ice.

chillow October 8, 2008 C. Kush The chillow is comfortable and works well for a few hours but I wish it would last longer.
A wonderful find September 30, 2008 Kool in FLA (Florida, USA) This is a fantastic product. It really needs more marketing. I love it. It is well built and works perfectly.
Just Not For Me September 14, 2008 Hopelessly Hot (Pittsburgh, PA) While I love the concept of this product, it just didn't work well for me. The instructions are rather detailed and you have to follow them carefully. I did that and didn't notice much coolness. I did put the pillow in the refrigerator as instructed and was in heaven for all of about 2 minutes. I think it's just that I'm an incredibly warm person and I'm not sure that anything less than a bag of ice is going to cool me off when I'm sleeping. The worst part is I'm not even near menopause yet...that's going to be even more fun! I did read the reviews before I purchased this product and even though there were good and bad, I decided to try it. I will be returning it. I think this is just one of those products that you can't make a judgment based on what others say because everyone is different. As I said, I'm warm pretty much all the time. I tried the Chillow when it was 80 at night and I have no air conditioning, only fans. Of course it's too warm, so I waited till the weather cooled before making a decision. It didn't seem to matter, I would awake in the middle of the night with my hair soaking wet from the Chillow either retaining the heat or not releasing it properly. It could well be that I didn't follow the instructions carefully enough. Either way, I'm thinking this just isn't the miracle that I was hoping to find. Wish you all luck though! Stay cool ;-)
it's a lifesaver September 10, 2008 M. Inglis For those of us suffering through menopause, this product has been a lifesaver. After discontinuing HRT, the hot flashes are pretty bad and interfere with sleep. This product keeps you cool through the night and minimizes waking up due to the hot flash. I love it.
great product September 2, 2008 A. Schade (NJ United States) I bought this for my fiance who gets very hot at night and he loves it. It isn't a substitute for AC, but it is definitely cold. It takes a little bit of time to set up (you have to fill it with water then wait 4 hours to start getting air out) but it's worth it.
