5 out of 5 stars heel cocculus Compositum is magic   October 7, 2008
Mark H. Webster (Tacoma)
I suffer from occasional flareups of a bizarre condition called Menieres disease. Menieres makes you dizzy. The doctors have no guaranteed cure though they are happy to spend thousands of dollars on treatments and surguries that don't work. I heard about cocculus Compositum on a well know menieres website. It is one of about 8 *vitamins* used in a homeopathic regimen known as *the john from ohio Menieres regimen*. Since I started using those vitamins a few months ago, my symptoms have lessened dramatically. If I do have a dizzy spell, I take a couple of these cocculus Compositum (also known as vertigo heel) and put them under my tongue until they dissolve. My dizzy spell goes away, or is at least minimized so I can go about my business. My doctor can give me pills as well, but his prescription medicines make me sleepy. These pills are a life changer and I carry them always. They have no side effects. I've used them 500 feet up in the air on a cliff in Yosemite, on my bicycle and at my desk. Good stuff!

5 out of 5 stars this stuff really does help vertigo   June 21, 2008

I bought this stuff somewhat reluctantly but desperate for something to help with a bout of Meniere's that wouldn't make me sleepy. It takes several of them but they really do help. Not a miracle, but helpful with zero side effects. The company ships is promptly also.

My husband started taking this about three weeks ago after his Meniere's symptoms returned. He had not had an episode for almost six years and then for about two months had several mild episode a week. He started a food elimination process, but it didn't seem to help until he got this product. No spells for three full weeks and his energy seems back to normal. He is still off of dairy, but back on wheat. Will try to add the dairy back soon and see what happens, but I really think it was the Cocculus! Very pleased.

This is the only non-prescription formula that has helped with my vertigo from Meniere's disease. It doesn't make you sleepy which was a big plus for me. It is, however, short acting--maybe 2-3 hours duration. The same formula in liquid did not work the same for me. The tablets were best.
