5 out of 5 stars Help with panic attacks   January 1, 2009
L. D Robinson (CA United States)
I suffer from panic attacks, and these rescue remedy pastilles have been a big help. When I am having a panic attack, or feel one coming on, I will take a Rescue Remedy. It just helps take the edge off and really helps me to be more in control of the panic attack.

I have not noticed any laxative effect because I only ever take one a day at most. Problems probably occur when you take more than that (aka "excessive consumption").

I also bought the spray, but the taste was so disgusting, I've only used it the one time. I only plan on buying the pastilles in the future. I also believe that the sucking and chewing of the pastille helps to add to the over all calming effect.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful, calming   October 25, 2008

I was introduced to these as drops years ago, and used them faithfully when I got stressed out. Those worked fine. I don't know if the difference is that these are actually digested, but they work much much better. The effect seems to last longer, and frankly I like the taste of these. Kind of flowery-herbal. Highly recommended for stress management.

4 out of 5 stars A good stress reliever in a handy jelly   July 11, 2008

Bach's Flower Rescue Remedy is a great natural stress reliever. I've used it for myself and my pets for several years and I can attest to its efficacy for even highly stressful situations.

Rescue Remedy Pastilles are a great way to carry the stress relief formula with you everywhere. For instance, if you are going to fly, you cannot take either the Rescue Remedy or the Rescue Remedy spray on the plane in your carryon; however, you can take the pastilles and eat them like candy.

CAUTION: These pastilles are sweetened with SORBITOL. If you have not heard of this ingredient, it is a sugar alcohol which has a mild laxative effect on most people.

3 out of 5 stars Not for Everyone.   April 12, 2008

I am a huge fan of Bach's flower essences but, Do not take this if you have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). It contains sorbitol Which if you do some research you will find out it is a laxative. I am not saying for no one to use it. I am just saying if you have IBS be on the cautious side.

5 out of 5 stars Helps with anxiety   March 19, 2008
Tenna Merchent (Noblesville, IN USA)
This is another remedy my children think is candy. When we go out and leave them with a sitter, I always make sure I leave these out. It helps the children stay calm, and get over their separation anxiety.
